BS Composite Tools

BS Composite Cement Retainers and Bridge Plugs (Patent Pending) provides a cost-effective alternative as a dependable tubing or wireline set drillable retainer. The packers are built from composite materials, aluminum, and rubber to give remarkable drill times, less drill bit wear, and less formation damage. One-piece heat-treated slips provide a secure setting.

As drilling rates are subject to many different variables, the following recommendations may not always provide the most efficient drilling rates; however, these recommendations are offered as a general guideline while conditions and equipment are unknown.

Should it be advantageous to have a lower torque requirement to release the setting tool from the retainer, the brass screw in the following table may be substituted for the standard annealed steel type rotational lock screws. The brass screws require approximately 200 ft/lbs. of torque to shear per screw.

HD Compression Packer

The HD Compression Packer is a high pressure, full opening, compression set
tool for squeeze cementing, acidizing, fracturing and other stimulation procedures.

This tool features a pressure-balanced unloader that closes when the packer sets.

While pressure aids in maintaining the seal the unloader can be easily opened under high differential pressure.

The large internal bypass reduces swabbing when running and retrieving.
