Its tension set mechanism makes it ideal for situations lacking the tubing weight required for compression-set packers. Featuring a J-slot for controlled setting and releasing, the AD-1 also includes a shear ring for secondary release and a right-hand safety joint for emergency retrieval. Rocker-type slips provide secure anchoring, and the tool’s interchangeable parts make it compatible with other brands.
