Description: Multi-Set Inflatable Service Packers (ISPs) can be configured for use in a wide variety of Workover & Intervention applications. Typically deployed on Tubing, Coil Tubing, and Drill Pipe, they can be used for Isolation, Production, Testing, Treating, or Squeezing. All Multi-Set ISPs are capable of multiple sets per run and may be retrieved after unsetting.
Each Multi-Set ISP features four main components which are mounted onto a robust Mechanical Tubing Mandrel Assembly:
- Inflatable Packer Element
- Inflation Control Valve
- Deflation Mechanism
- Dart Catcher Sub
ISPs are set by pressurizing the work string, requiring no mechanical manipulation. An Inflation Control Valve automatically locks inflation pressure inside the Element after work string pressure is bled-off, allowing for subsequent operations to be performed through the work string.
